No. Coast to Coast Non-Profit is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all our advocacy services are provided free of charge to veterans and their families.
Not at all. While we can help you navigate VA services if that’s appropriate, we also work with community providers, private facilities, and other resources outside the VA system. We’ll help you find the best care available regardless of your VA status.
Please don’t wait. We’ve worked with veterans facing everything from mild anxiety to severe addiction and crisis situations. There’s no problem too small or too large. If you’re a veteran who needs help, that’s exactly what we’re here for.
That’s completely okay. Our job is to present you with options and support whatever decision you make. There’s no pressure, no obligation, and no judgment. You remain in complete control of your care decisions.
You’ll speak directly with a veteran advocate – no automated systems or lengthy hold times. We’ll listen to your situation, ask some questions about your service history and current challenges, and work together to identify appropriate next steps. The conversation is confidential and typically takes 15-30 minutes.
Just yourself. While it’s helpful if you have your DD214 or information about previous treatment, it’s not required for the initial conversation. We can help you gather any necessary documentation later.
Yes, family members and caregivers can call for information and guidance. However, due to privacy laws, we may need the veteran’s direct involvement for certain types of assistance and referrals.
We assist veterans with mental health conditions (PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc.), behavioral addictions (gambling, gaming, etc.), and co-occurring conditions. If it’s affecting a veteran’s wellbeing, we can help.
This varies depending on your specific needs, location, and the type of treatment required. For crisis situations, we can often coordinate immediate assistance. For other situations, we work to minimize wait times and can often expedite the process through our network of contacts.
Previous treatment experiences – whether successful or not – actually help us better understand what might work best for you now. Many veterans need multiple attempts or different approaches before finding what works. We don’t view previous treatment as failure; we view it as valuable information.
Not at all. We work with VA facilities, community providers, private treatment centers, and specialized programs across the country. Our goal is finding the best fit for your specific needs, regardless of who provides the care.
Yes. Our advocates are registered lobbyists with decades of experience navigating the VA system. We know the key contacts, understand the processes, and can often resolve issues that seem impossible from the outside.
While we don’t handle formal appeals (that requires legal representation), we can help you understand why claims are denied and connect you with appropriate legal advocates. We can also help ensure you’re getting the healthcare you need while other issues are being resolved.
Absolutely. We assist veterans with relocating their benefits and care, including helping establish new provider relationships and ensuring continuity of treatment during transitions.
Call us immediately at 800-334-0394. Our crisis intervention specialists are available 24/7. We can provide immediate support while coordinating emergency services if needed. You can also call the Veterans Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255, Press 1, or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988.
Our phone line is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Veterans don’t experience crises only during business hours, so we don’t limit our availability to business hours either.
Yes. We follow strict confidentiality guidelines and only share information with your explicit consent or when required by law (such as imminent danger situations).
No. Seeking help through our organization has no impact on your benefits, disability ratings, or military record. Getting help demonstrates strength, not weakness.
