Your Path to Wellness Starts with One Phone Call
Taking the first step toward getting help can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re dealing with mental health challenges or navigating the complex VA system. At Coast to Coast Non-Profit, we’ve streamlined the process to make it as simple as possible for you to get the support you deserve.
How We Help – One Step at a Time
Step 1: Reach Out
Call our 24-hour monitored line at 800-334-0394. You’ll speak directly with a veteran advocate or registered lobbyist who understands military culture and the unique challenges veterans face. There’s no automated system, no lengthy intake forms – just a real person ready to listen and help.
Step 2: Share Your Story
Our advocates will take time to understand your specific situation. Whether you’re struggling with PTSD, housing instability, or multiple challenges at once, we listen without judgment. We know that every veteran’s experience is different, and we tailor our approach to your individual needs.
Step 3: Develop Your Action Plan
Based on your conversation, we’ll work together to identify the most appropriate resources and next steps. This might include immediate crisis intervention, referrals to specialized treatment programs, assistance with VA navigation, or coordination of multiple services to address complex situations.
Step 4: Active Advocacy
Unlike other referral services, we don’t just hand you a phone number and wish you luck. Our team actively advocates for you throughout the process. We’ll help coordinate appointments, assist with transportation arrangements, ensure you understand your benefits and entitlements, and follow up to make sure you’re getting the care you need.
Step 5: Ongoing Support

Recovery and wellness are ongoing journeys, not destinations. We maintain connections with veterans throughout their process, providing continued advocacy, addressing new challenges as they arise, and celebrating milestones along the way.

What to Expect from Your First Call

Your initial conversation typically takes 15-30 minutes, though we’ll take as much time as needed. Our advocates will ask about your service history, current challenges, previous treatment experiences, and immediate needs. Everything shared is confidential, and there’s no obligation beyond exploring your options.

Common Situations We Address
Veterans often contact us when they’re feeling stuck in the system, facing long wait times for VA services, dealing with denial of benefits, struggling with mental health issues, experiencing housing instability, or simply feeling overwhelmed by where to start. No situation is too complex or too simple – if you’re a veteran who needs help, we’re here for you.
Emergency Situations
If you’re experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, having a mental health crisis, or facing immediate danger please call us immediately at 800-334-0394. Our crisis intervention specialists are available 24/7 and trained to provide immediate support while coordinating emergency services if needed.
Family Members and Caregivers
We also work with family members and caregivers who are concerned about a veteran’s wellbeing. We can provide guidance on how to approach difficult conversations, connect families with support resources, and help coordinate intervention strategies when appropriate.
